projektledare, sektionschef IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute The quantities of engineered nanoparticles (NP) released to the environment are often influenced by their fate in waste water treatment plants (WWTP). Here, 40 nm silver NP (AgNP) were spiked into a mesocosm simulating the process used at a major municipal WWTP. I am working with the marine nanochemistry group (Prof Martin Hassellöv and Dr. Julian Alberto Gallego Urrea). My tasks include assistance to several projects that require the operation of single particle ICP-MS, Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS) and Scanning Electron Microscope coupled with Energy Dispersive X-ray (SEM/EDX), among other analytical instrumentation.
